About the Job

As a Business Analyst specializing in Accounting & Finance, you will implement Odoo applications and provide expertise in Finance. You'll be directly involved with clients to help them utilize Odoo apps effectively (eCommerce, Manufacturing, Inventory, Project, Website...). Your responsibilities include analyzing client needs, designing solutions, configuring their processes, and delivering personal training sessions. You will ensure projects are delivered on time and budget, providing the best management solutions to your customers.

You will also support the growth of our partner network, helping and coaching partners worldwide to implement their customers' projects and become Odoo Experts.

Key Responsibilities

Complex Implementation Management: Coordinate directly with CFOs, Accountants, and Heads of Finance to map existing financial processes into Odoo, ensuring fiscal compliance and operational efficiency.
Advanced Solution Design: Analyze specific business requirements and design effective configurations to meet needs such as multi-currency management, consolidated reporting, or automated reconciliation.
Advanced Functional Support: Serve as a point of escalation for fellow Business Analysts and Odoo Partners, troubleshooting intricate accounting problems and providing functional guidance for complex scenarios.
Financial Reporting & Data Analysis: Configure and refine financial reports (Balance Sheets, P&L, Tax Reports) to ensure accurate, real-time data for executive decision-making.
R&D Feedback Loop: Act as a bridge between end-users and the R&D team, identifying product gaps, suggesting improvements, and testing new accounting features.

Make your customer/partner an Odoo Champion (training)
Follow the project and communicate about its status and ongoing tasks
Organize and follow-up Odoo implementations

Internal Improvement (40%)

Support, coach, and train other team members
Produce enlightening content
Collaborate with the Product Owners
Participate in sales and marketing activities
Develop new business services

About You

At Odoo, we value your skills more than your resume. Here's what we expect from you:

Must Have

0 to 6 years of experience in the accounting or finance sector (accountant, auditor, advanced controlling)
Experience with accounting software (BOB, Exact, Winbooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft,...)
Minimum 2 languages: Dutch/English or French/English
Interest in the finance sector
Solution oriented
Critical and analytical mind
Autonomous & proactive
Fast learner and interested in understanding the "Why"
Ability to support heavy workload and stress
Valid work permit for Belgium

Nice to Have

Knowledge of reporting softwares (Power BI, Emasphere, Excel,...)
Experience in switching to new accounting systems
Odoo knowledge
ITAA accreditation
