Business Analyst (Contractual)

Responsibilities

Drive Continuous Process Improvement: Enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and business outcomes.
Facilitate Requirements Workshops: Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
Analyze and Document Requirements: Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and testable acceptance criteria.
Develop Business Process Maps: Create and maintain process maps, data flows, source-to-target mappings, and reporting relationships.
Define KPI Frameworks: Establish business metrics, calculation logic, dimensions, filters, exception handling rules, and data-quality standards.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Plan, develop test cases, manage defects, and obtain business sign-off.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with data engineering, analytics, architecture, and project delivery teams.
Mentor Junior Analysts: Contribute to best practices, standards, and capability development.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Significant experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in enterprise-scale data, analytics, or digital transformation projects.
Methodologies: Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in business process modeling, requirements management, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of reporting, KPI development, data governance, and data quality management.
- Experience using data analysis and visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
- Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and file-based interfaces.

Accrual Management
Financial Close Processes
Reconciliation Activities
SAP FI/CO knowledge strongly preferred

Sales (Strongly Preferred)

Customer and Product Hierarchies
Pricing and Trade Promotions
Sales Orders and Order Management
Trade Spend Management
Sell-in and Sell-out Analysis
Customer Profitability
SAP SD and TPM knowledge strongly preferred

Nice to Have

SAP tables and process knowledge within Sales, Finance, RD&E, or Sustainability domains.
Databricks SQL or comparable cloud data platform experience.
Experience with dbt documentation, testing, and data validation frameworks.
Familiarity with data lineage and catalog solutions such as Unity Catalog.
Understanding of API integrations and data exchange mechanisms.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted delivery tools.
