Business Analyst (GovTech)

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (GovTech) to work on digital transformation projects, enhancing public services. The role involves working closely with development teams and legal experts to improve state services and implement new digitalization projects.

Responsibilities

• Engage with all types of stakeholders to gather their needs and requirements for systems/solutions, and formalize the collected requirements according to international (BABOK) and other business analysis standards.
• Research, analyze, and describe concepts, presentations, and business processes (as is - to be).
• Reengineer existing processes, analyze alternative options, and set tasks for contractors or consultants.
• Prepare and modify requirements in the form of document packages (technical requirements; technical tasks; requirements in the form of tasks/user stories, cases; instructions, guides, or other).
• Work on various projects simultaneously (with priority given to one project), ranging from the discovery phase to the final development stage and delivery to the customer.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience with legislation. Ability and understanding of working with regulatory acts and legislation in general as one of the types of input data for requirements analysis.
• Ability to develop and analyze business models with a deep understanding of software development processes and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with subsequent description in the form of business processes using BPMN notation or others.
• Experience in gathering requirements from customers and other stakeholders and formalizing them in the form of TV, TZ (SRS), use cases, user stories, etc.
• Experience in developing prototypes and prototyping using appropriate software tools such as Axure, Sketch, or others.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and creating specifications for developers.
• Ability to present the results of their work and communicate with various stakeholders in the project, including a high level of written and oral skills.
• Planning skills, time management, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian and conversational English.
