About the Position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Business Analyst to support the loyalty and customer-related solutions within our organization. As the Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing demand in areas shaping our loyalty schema platforms and supporting all customer data-related activities. This role requires an understanding of loyalty schema best practices, as well as expertise in online and offline customer-related journeys.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and communication of a clear product vision
- Support planning, optimization, and execution of various processes related to loyalty and customer journeys
- Collaborate closely with business counterparts as well as digital experts to gather requirements, in cooperation with his/her manager, to support that the product roadmap addresses the company's demands
- Translate business requirements into user stories and functional requirements
- Support the management and prioritization of the product backlog, ensuring it contains well-defined user stories, features, and technical tasks related to the core retail domain
- In cooperation with his/her manager, define clear acceptance criteria for each user story, supporting alignment with business objectives
- Ensure that other functional and development teams have a clear understanding of the requirements and expectations
- Work closely with cross-functional IT teams, including other product owners and business analysts, to facilitate the successful delivery of product features
- Identify areas for continuous improvement within the loyalty and digital domain, as well as other systems in the respective domain, highlight them to his/her manager to support implementation of enhancements that drive greater efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to support informed decisions
- Lead training sessions for end users and other IT stakeholders
- Analyze preferences and requests of end users
Requirements
- University Degree in Information & Computer Technology, or any other discipline of technical orientation. Master's degree will be considered an asset
- Agile certifications are welcome (e.g., SAFe)
- 2+ years of relevant IT experience; experience in the retail industry would be considered a plus
- Very good working knowledge of the following areas: Online commerce, Customer care, Digital journeys
- Experience of complex IT landscapes and large organizations
- Proficiency in Agile Methodologies (SAFe) and hands-on experience with Agile tools (Atlassian)
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and a critical mindset
- Autonomous, proactive, structured, accurate
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others
