Business Analytics Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analytics Manager to join our Business Intelligence team in Hong Kong SAR. In this pivotal role, you will lead the evaluation and analysis of company-wide decision-making processes, as well as assess the performance of both past and ongoing key projects. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Intelligence, you will collaborate closely with the senior management team to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Analytics Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for our senior management team and C-levels for company-level analytics requests. Provide data-driven insights to support high-stakes decision-making, including efficiency reviews, performance evaluations, and strategic initiatives.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Leverage advanced analytics techniques to analyze complex business problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Presentation & Communication: Distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for Lalamove’s senior stakeholders. Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations to the C-level executives.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Handle urgent, dynamic analytics requests from senior management with flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in business analytics, with at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience working directly with senior stakeholders (C-suite executives, Managing Director level).
• Expertise in handling large datasets using SQL, R, Python and advanced proficiency in analytical tools like Excel or equivalent platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
