About the Position

Business Architect (IT)

Quality B.V. is seeking a dedicated Business Architect (IT) to join our team in Capelle aan den IJssel, Zuid-Holland, Nederland. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and a competitive salary of € 6.000 per month.

Responsibilities

As a Business Architect at Quality B.V., you will:

• Model and describe business processes and necessary information provision within organizations at the business architecture level.
• Define target architectures based on inventoried business requirements.
• Provide content, advice, and governance on business processes and their information provision during complex change processes (e.g., mergers, reorganizations, implementation of new legislation, etc.) and/or innovative initiatives (e.g., product management or digital transformations).
• Act as a trusted advisor to various committees at (C-level) management level on tactical and strategic issues related to business processes and associated information provision.
• Develop (Project/Program) Start Architectures (including GAP analyses).
• Ensure the timeliness and quality of the Business Architecture.
• Actively contribute to improving the IT architecture function of an organization (e.g., through capability management and/or knowledge transfer).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 5 years of experience in roles such as business architect, process architect, business analyst, business consultant, or similar in large complex organizations.
• A HBO or WO education level, demonstrated by successfully completed studies (e.g., Technical Business Administration, Technical Public Administration, Business Process Management, or Information Science) and/or work experience.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and EA standards (preferably certified) such as TOGAF, DYA, Zachman, SABSA, and IT4IT.
• Knowledge of modeling standards such as Archimate (preferably certified) or BPMN.
• Preferably experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect).
• Knowledge of and experience with information security in relation to architecture.
• Knowledge of and experience with information architecture (i.e., data models and application architecture).
• Familiarity with waterfall and Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe).
• Ability to effectively communicate the mission, vision, and strategy of Quality B.V.
