About the Role

Your Role as a Business Architect at Quality

As a Business Architect at Quality, you are the strategic force behind the effective and efficient business operations of our clients, ensuring their business goals are achieved. A robust and future-proof information provision is of utmost importance. You help clients align their business processes, organization, and supporting digital services, optimizing their quality. Based on your talent for stakeholder management, you inventory relevant business objectives and functional needs, translating them into an adequate business and information (goal) architecture. With your analytical ability and expertise in business processes, information architecture, and information security, you streamline processes and minimize complexity.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and describing business processes and the necessary information provision within organizations at the business architecture level.
• Defining target architectures based on inventoried business requirements.
• Providing content direction, advising on, and governing business processes and their information provision during complex change processes (e.g., mergers, reorganizations, implementation of new legislation, etc.) and/or innovative initiatives (e.g., in the context of product management or digital transformations).
• Acting as a (trusted) advisor to various boards at (C-level) management level on tactical and strategic issues related to business processes and associated information provision.
• Drafting (Project/Program) Start Architectures (including GAP analyses).
• Ensuring the timeliness and quality of the Business Architecture.
• Actively contributing to the improvement of an organization's IT architecture function (e.g., through capability management and/or knowledge transfer).

Requirements

What You Bring

• At least 5 years of experience in roles such as business architect, process architect, business analyst, business consultant, or similar in large complex organizations.
• HBO or WO work and thinking level, demonstrable through successfully completed education (e.g., Technical Business Administration, Technical Public Administration, Business Process Management, or Information Science) and/or work experiences.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and EA standards (preferably certified) such as TOGAF, DYA, Zachman, SABSA, and IT4IT.
• Knowledge of modeling standards such as Archimate (preferably certified) or BPMN.
• Preferably experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect).
• Knowledge of and experience with information security in relation to architecture.
• Knowledge of and experience with information architecture (i.e., data models and application architecture).
• Familiarity with waterfall and Agile working methodologies (e.g., SAFe).
• Ability to effectively communicate Quality's mission, vision, and strategy.
