About the Position
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Consultant to lead our Business Consulting Practice. The ideal candidate would combine strong leadership capabilities with deep expertise in the Finance/Banking industry and a proven track record of delivering business value within IT-driven transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Building and leading the Business Consulting practice, focused on the Banking/Finance industry (70 IT Business Consultants and Business Analysts).
- Building a motivated, engaged, and highly capable team.
- Driving team’s impact and efficiency, managing its budget, utilization, and other business KPIs.
- Playing a role of a line manager for some team members.
- Supporting business development in the area of focus. Actively contributing to presales activities, including shaping value propositions, engaging with prospective clients, and supporting the preparation of winning offers.
- Acting as a senior IT Business Consultant, supporting our executive-level retail banking clients in addressing complex business challenges.
Requirements
- 8+ years of business experience, including 4+ years of practical hands-on experience as a Business Consultant on commercial IT solutions and services projects, for the banking and financial sector.
- Deep understanding of business processes and challenges in the retail banking domain.
- Strong leadership skills, experience in managing and developing teams.
- Business Acumen. Passion for helping clients, experience in presales and client advisory work, ability to shape solutions and apply banking expertise in consulting engagements.
- Passion for and experience in AI.
- Readiness to travel between our offices in Poland (Łódź, Warszawa, Poznań, Kraków).
- Fluent English and Polish.
- Experience working in a senior role in a retail bank or other financial institution would be considered a plus.
