Business Data Analyst (m/f/d)

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Business Data Analyst (m/f/d) to join our team in Bulgaria with hybrid or remote working options. This role involves data analysis and interpretation to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collecting data: Define data requirements with stakeholders and source, prepare, and validate data from multiple systems and data sources.
• Analysing data: Clean, transform, and analyse complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, root causes, and insights.
• Delivering business insights: Summarize findings in a clear, concise manner, explain what is driving business developments, flag risks and opportunities proactively, and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborating with other teams: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product to understand and anticipate their data needs.
• Process improvement: Identify data quality, system, and process improvement opportunities and drive implementation.
• Supporting change: Lead the rollout and adoption of new reporting, tools, and processes.
• Staying current: Keep up with developments in data analysis methods and tools, and champion the use of AI tools in daily work.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role, with a proven track record of independently delivering complex, stakeholder-ready analysis that influences business decisions.
• Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI or a comparable BI platform.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Fluent English is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience in product analytics.
• Experience working with AI data products or applying AI tools in analytical workflows.
