About the Position
Business Development, Mobile Ad Platform （事業開発, モバイル広告プラットフォーム日本市場立ち上げ）
We are seeking a Business Development professional for a mobile ad platform to lead the launch of our platform in the Japanese market.
Responsibilities
- Japan Market Sales Strategy (GTM) Development and Execution
- Target selection, approach plan creation, hypothesis testing, and process improvement
- Sales and Partnership Development with Major Advertising Agencies and Key Clients
- Value proposition for mobile and brand advertising, project acquisition
- Market and Competitor Information Collection and Feedback to Global Product
- Competitive service trend analysis, aggregation of Japan-specific market needs
- Submission of feature improvement requests to overseas development teams (India) and product managers
Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
- Sales or account management experience in the advertising industry (3+ years)
- Particularly experience in mobile app advertising, brand advertising, and performance-based advertising
- Network or track record of establishing partnerships with major advertising agencies (e.g., Dentsu, Hakuhodo, ADK, CyberAgent, etc.)
- Expertise in digital advertising and ad-tech: deep understanding of the mobile advertising market, measurement tools (MMP), and various effectiveness measurement indicators
- Ability to think and act independently: capable of identifying challenges and taking action to solve them in a startup environment
- Business-level English proficiency (able to smoothly communicate via chat, email, and online meetings with overseas teams)
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in launching foreign advertising IT companies or overseas products in the Japanese market
- Sales and business development experience with ad networks, DSP/SSP, or ad serving platform providers
- Experience in securing budgets for brand advertising and upper funnel at major agencies
