Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer

About the Position

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer at Lalamove, you will be part of the BI and Research Team, supporting various functional departments in the functional office and our operation offices globally. Your role will involve writing and maintaining data pipelines, reporting scripts, and queries. You will design and create visualizations, reports, metrics dashboards, and data sources to empower different teams to make informed decisions with the support of analytics.

Requirements

• Communicative: Ability to elaborate complex technical concepts and collaborate effectively with fellow teammates and stakeholders

Skills Required

• 1-2 years of work experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, fresh graduates will also be considered
• Experience working with complex datasets and ability to write efficient SQL queries against Hive and DORIS SQL is preferable
• Knowledge of data pipeline, ETL/ELT, workflow management, and data warehousing
• Experience using business intelligence platforms for data visualization, creating and automating dashboards, reports, and data sources. Tableau is preferable
• Experience scripting Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
• Good command of English for communicating technical ideas both orally and in writing
