About the Project

For one of the largest clients in the retail industry in Poland, we are looking for experienced Business-Systems Analysts to join a key project building a new point-of-sale system.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing current processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and to align the new product with the real needs of users
• Conducting interviews with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand how processes work
• Consulting with headquarters on compliance with existing procedures and identifying any discrepancies
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including use cases, end-to-end process maps, and activity diagrams to support system development
• Analyzing user reports, feedback from pilots, information from ambassadors, and signals from daily system usage
• Verifying and updating process documentation and functional specifications
• Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and prepare recommendations
• Identifying integration points and dependencies between system modules
• Analyzing the potential use of AI in business processes and IT systems, including defining requirements, use cases, and success metrics
• Translating business requirements into product backlog in the form of user stories

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, including large-scale and complex projects
• Strong knowledge of business process analysis and modeling methods, including BPMN and UML
• Experience in conducting workshops and interviews with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Understanding of enterprise systems operation and dependencies in application architecture and system integrations
• Ability to use analytical tools such as Amplitude and SQL for data analysis (knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Github Copilot, Codex)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience in conducting refinements
• Understanding of system constraints, module dependencies, and the impact of changes on business processes
• Ability to create clear functional and technical documentation
• High communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that is understandable to the business
• Communication in English at least at the B2 level
