We are seeking an experienced C++ Software Development Engineer to join our team in Pune, India, for a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain C++ applications with a focus on 3D graphics, geometric modeling, simulation, and engineering software systems
  • Design and implement efficient solutions for complex engineering challenges
  • Optimize algorithms and improve software performance
  • Work with 3D data, geometric models, visualization components, or simulation-related functionality depending on project needs
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing codebases
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
  • Document technical solutions and communicate project progress effectively

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Modern C++, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms
  • Experience developing high-performance software and optimizing algorithms
  • Good understanding of software design principles and engineering best practices
  • Experience working with mathematics, geometric algorithms, or computational geometry
  • Experience with 3D-related software development, such as 3D graphics, 3D modeling, simulation, visualization, or geometric processing
  • Understanding of 3D concepts such as spatial transformations, coordinate systems, meshes, curves, surfaces, or solid modeling
  • Experience solving performance-sensitive engineering or computational problems
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio and CMake
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CAD/CAM, PLM, or other engineering software applications
  • Experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL, DirectX, or Vulkan
  • Experience with visualization frameworks or engines such as OpenSceneGraph, Unity, or Unreal Engine
  • Experience with geometric modeling kernels such as Open CASCADE or Parasolid
  • Experience with parallel computing technologies such as CUDA or OpenCL
  • Experience with C++ libraries and frameworks such as Boost or Qt
  • Experience with Windows-related technologies such as COM, ATL, WinAPI, or MFC
