Category Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a Category Manager to lead commercial strategies for sweets, snacks, and breakfast categories, maximizing sales and market share.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial strategy for sweets, snacks, and breakfast categories, maximizing sales, margin, and market share.
• Define and execute the annual category plan.
• Analyze trends.
• Plan and select a mix of products.
• Manage the promotions strategy.
• Negotiate annual commercial conditions.
• Manage the relationship with key suppliers and evaluate new developments.
• Analyze and manage management indicators to evaluate category performance, conducting periodic follow-ups and adjusting strategies as necessary.

Requirements

• Graduates in Engineering or related fields.
• Experience of at least 3 years in similar positions within mass consumption, retail, supermarkets, or convenience stores.
• Previous experience in project management and relationship management with multiple counterparts.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and business indicators.

Nice to Have

• Experience in data analysis.
• Strong negotiation skills.
