Chartered Land Surveyor

About the Position

My client, a growing UK consultancy involved in Energy, Infrastructure, Rail, and Residential projects, has an upcoming role for an experienced Chartered Land Surveyor to be based in Dublin City Centre, Ireland. The purpose of the role is to service our growing client base in Ireland with securing land agreements for renewable energy projects, project managing the delivery of same from initial landowner engagement to the completion of the required legal agreements.

Responsibilities

• Service the growing client base in Ireland with securing land agreements for renewable energy projects.
• Project manage the delivery of projects from initial landowner engagement to the completion of the required legal agreements.
• Navigate typical issues that come with land, properties, while making sustained and significant project progress for clients.
• Ensure that landowners are interested and the land is respected while meeting project requirements.

Requirements

• Professional experience in renewable energy, land, agricultural, or property sectors.
• Level 8 qualification in a related field.
• Understanding and experience of typical issues facing landowners.
• Experience of interacting with legal professionals.
• Commercial negotiation experience.
• Communication and social skills.
• Proficiency in using maps (GIS experience would be a plus but isn’t essential).
