Chief Marketing Officer

About the Position

Kvertus is a product company that, since 2017, has been developing comprehensive solutions for radio-electronic warfare and intelligence in the DefTech sphere. Our technologies protect military, civilian, and critical infrastructure objects, ensuring their reliability and resilience against modern threats.

We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer who will be responsible for developing the marketing function and strengthening Kvertus's position in the market.

Responsibilities

• Implementing business marketing and product strategies.
• Managing the marketing budget: planning, resource allocation, cost control, and investment evaluation.
• Defining the positioning, value proposition, and key communication directions for the company's brand and products.
• Forming, managing, and developing the marketing team: setting goals, task distribution, competency development, and performance evaluation.
• Developing external communications and partnerships with media, professional and public organizations, industry communities, and other stakeholders.
• Formulating and implementing Kvertus's participation strategy in relevant Ukrainian and international exhibitions, conferences, and other industry events.
• Establishing marketing interaction with Product, Sales, Business Development, and HR to support the company's commercial and strategic goals.
• Defining key marketing KPIs, regularly analyzing results, and making data-driven decisions.
• Analyzing key marketing indicators and preparing recommendations to enhance marketing activities and achieve business results.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar position for at least 3 years and successful case studies.
• Experience in effective team management and development.
• Experience in building a marketing strategy for a product portfolio.
• Experience in market analysis: from process building to data usage for promotion.
• Understanding of B2G communication and the market segment.
• Understanding the specifics of communication in conditions of limited publicity.
• Excellent leadership, strategic, and communication skills.
• Ability to think in terms of business effectiveness, work with large amounts of information, and calculate the commercial effectiveness of marketing activities.
• Proactivity, initiative, and results-orientation.
• Experience in organizing brand representation in the international market (will be a plus).
• Proficiency in English at the upper-intermediate level.
