Head of Product

About the Position

Kvertus - a product company, since 2017, developing comprehensive radio-electronic warfare and reconnaissance solutions in the DefTech sphere. Our technologies protect military, civilian, and critical infrastructure objects, ensuring their reliability and resilience against modern threats.

We are currently seeking a Head of Product to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Formation and development of the product office, establishing unified product management standards
• Management of the product portfolio: defining priorities, controlling product development, and evaluating their effectiveness
• Defining the methodology for building the product lifecycle: stages of the lifecycle and necessary artifacts at each stage
• Building and optimizing the processes of product teams, implementing modern product management practices
• Coordinating cross-functional teams for timely and high-quality product development
• Developing the product team: mentorship, supporting professional growth, and enhancing product expertise
• Defining key performance indicators for products and teams, monitoring goal achievement, and controlling results
• Interaction with partners
• Market analysis, competitive environment, and customer needs
• Ensuring the collection and analysis of user feedback and key stakeholders to improve products

Requirements

• Experience in full-cycle management of hardware products from the 1st year
• Experience in managing multiple product lines simultaneously and defining their development priorities
• Understanding of the full cycle of hardware product creation: from concept formation and requirements to mass production, development, and support
• Practical experience in building a product function, team, and key product management processes
• Experience in integrating engineering, manufacturing, commercial, and other teams into a cross-functional product team
• Understanding of the lifecycle of military products and the specifics of their development, testing, certification, and scaling
• Understanding the specifics of the military equipment and armaments market
• Experience in market analysis, competitive environment, user needs, and using the obtained data for product development
• Developed skills in strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and effective interaction with stakeholders at various levels

Nice to Have

• Experience in the defense industry
• Understanding of technologies and principles of electronic warfare systems
• Collaboration with military units
