About the Position

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announces a tender for the position of public service category “B” - chief specialist of the department of analysis of current activities and control of the Department for ensuring the formation of state policy in the field of combating drug crime.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely and high-quality implementation of planned activities and analysis of their effectiveness.
• Collects and systematizes information on crimes in the field of illicit drug trafficking to inform the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
• Provides prompt information to the management of the department and the Office about crimes in the field of illicit drug trafficking, which can cause significant public resonance.
• Conducts a systematic analysis of the activities of the central executive bodies, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, on the issues of participation in the implementation of state policy in the sphere of drug trafficking.
• Develops draft orders, decisions of meetings of the management of the Department, committees of the Ministry and other documents on the areas of activity.
• Provides, within its competence, cooperation with bodies and divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, other law enforcement agencies that carry out activities in the field of combating drug crime, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, public associations, other organizations involved in the implementation of state policy in the sphere of drug trafficking means.
• Studies international experience and develops proposals for the formation of public policy in the field of combating drug crime.
• Participates in the preparation of reports, draft public policy documents, analytical, informational, reference and other materials on issues related to the competence of the department.
• Participates in monitoring the effectiveness of measures to combat drug crime in Ukraine and the world.
• Ensures interaction in accordance with the division of responsibilities with the departments and institutions involved in the implementation of the state policy to combat drug crime.

Requirements

• Education: Higher education by educational degree not lower than bachelor, junior bachelor.
• Work experience: Does not need.
• Proficiency in the state language: Fluency in the state language.

We Offer

• Salary: UAH 10,600 per month.
• Benefits: Allowances, surcharges, bonuses, and compensation in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”; increase to the official salary for the rank of civil servant in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017 No. 15 “The issue of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (as amended).
