About the Position
We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with 3+ years of experience in a similar role to lead our technology team remotely. Fluent in Polish and English.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to provide technical expertise during client discussions and sales meetings.
- Create accurate project estimates, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Develop and manage project plans to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Design scalable and innovative technical architectures that meet the needs of our clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate into our solutions.
- Ensure that our technology stack is modern, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance our development and delivery processes.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology team.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing technology and development team.
- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth among team members.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
- Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Monitor and assess project performance and implement improvements as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Work experience and understanding of the Polish & EU markets
- Native/Advanced level of Polish
- Upper-intermediate+ level of English
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a technology-driven organization
- Strong expertise in estimating project scope and resources
- Exceptional architectural design skills with a deep understanding of modern technologies
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to lead, inspire, and mentor technical teams
