Chinese to Malay/Indonesian Automotive Translation

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled translator for Chinese to Malay/Indonesian automotive and technical content, focusing on MTPE and proofreading.

Responsibilities

• MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing): Improve MT output to meet accuracy, fluency, consistency, and terminology/style-guide requirements.
• Proofreading/Review (PR): Perform final QA checks on language, terminology, formatting, numbers/units, and overall readiness for delivery.
• Work in CAT tools (e.g., Trados, memoQ, Smartcat) and follow project QA workflows.

Content / Domain

Automotive + Technical materials, such as product/feature content, technical docs/manual excerpts, after-sales/service information, and training content.

Requirements

• Native-level Indonesian/Malay preferred
• Technical localization experience required; automotive localization experience is a plus
• Strong communication, reliable turnaround, and ability to support urgent requests when needed
• Linguistic test required (TR / MTPE / PR)
