About the Position

Location: Palo Alto, California, US
Duration: 06 Months (Extension/Conversion based on performance)
Salary Range: $48 - $50 per hour
Relocation: Allowed

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator with oncology treatment trial experience for a contract role in Palo Alto, California.

Responsibilities

Conduct clinical research and work independently on progressively more complex projects/assignments.
Independently manage significant and key aspects of a large study or all aspects of one or more small research studies.
Coordinate patient recruitment, enrollment, and retention for clinical trials.
Manage clinical research data, study documentation, and query resolution.
Coordinate IRB submissions/renewals and maintain regulatory compliance with FDA and HIPAA requirements.
Monitor and report serious adverse events and support study safety activities.
Partner with Principal Investigators, sponsors, and research teams to manage study milestones and deliverables.
Support study budgets, patient milestones, sponsor invoicing, and process improvements.
Train/mentor research staff and ensure adherence to study protocols.

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of clinical research experience, or equivalent.
Oncology treatment trial experience, preferably Phase I.
Hands-on EPIC experience.
Clinical research experience in a hospital, academic medical center, cancer center, or other healthcare institution.
Experience with IRB, FDA regulations, and HIPAA.
