About the Position
We are seeking a Cloud Architect to design and implement our cloud computing infrastructure in San Francisco. The Cloud Architect position at ExampleCorp is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and implementation of our cloud computing infrastructure. You will work with a team of engineers to create and maintain a robust, secure, and scalable cloud environment that meets the needs of our growing company. This position is based in our San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:
- Design ExampleCorp's overall cloud strategy
- Build and maintain ExampleCorp's cloud infrastructure
- Ensure that ExampleCorp's cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant
- Optimize ExampleCorp's cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and availability
- Manage ExampleCorp's cloud vendor relationships
- Provide guidance and expertise to ExampleCorp's development teams on cloud-related topics
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and trends
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum five years professional experience in IT
- Minimum three years architecting or designing solutions in the cloud
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with a variety of cloud-based technologies and tools
- Ability to design and optimize cloud architectures to meet business goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
