Cloud DevOps Engineer (k/m)

About the Position

Oktawave S.A. is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. This role involves managing cloud environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform, planning and executing migrations, and developing self-service systems for developers.

Responsibilities

• Running and maintaining cloud environments in GCP using Terraform.
• Planning and executing migrations and modernization of systems from on-premise to the cloud.
• Maintaining and developing landing zones for key clients.
• Preparing and developing a self-service system for developers.
• Analyzing business needs to build optimal cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Experience with production projects of various scales.
• Automation skills for deploying infrastructure in public clouds and on-premises environments.
• Understanding of containerization principles and frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of commonly used DevOps platforms and tools.
• Practical knowledge of any programming language.

Nice to Have

• Professional certifications for Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with PaaS services from major cloud providers.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible).
• Understanding of high-availability solution principles.
• Familiarity with self-service/IDP tools (Backstage, Port, Humanitec).
• Experience in migrating legacy applications to public clouds.
• Ability to support the sales process by creating technical input for offers.
• English language skills at a professional level for international projects.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
