Responsibilities

• Designing target architecture for environments in GCP (landing-zone, multi-cloud, cyber-recovery)
• Implementing automation for environment provisioning
• Creating architectural patterns and organizational standards
• Designing and overseeing the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Terragrunt)
• Defining migration and modernization strategies for applications (replatforming / refactoring / cloud-native)
• Designing developer platforms and self-service solutions (e.g., Backstage)
• Supporting pre-sales processes: architectural workshops, HLD/LLD, technical input for quotations
• Providing technological advice on security, scalability, HA, and cost optimization

Requirements

• Several years of experience in cloud projects, including designing and running production GCP environments
• Proficiency in Terraform, capable of designing modules and IaC pipelines at the organizational architecture level
• Comfortable working in containerization environments – Docker, Kubernetes (GKE)
• Understanding of principles for designing scalable and secure cloud environments (IAM, networking, monitoring, HA)
• Practical knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript / Python / Go / Bash)
• Ability to conduct technical discussions with clients and translate complex issues into business-friendly terms
• Possessing Google Cloud Professional Architect / DevOps Engineer certifications or equivalent for AWS/Azure

Nice to Have

• Professional Cloud Network Engineer certifications or equivalent for AWS/Azure
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud architectures
• Familiarity with automation and configuration tools (Ansible, Pulumi)
• Involvement in application modernization projects (cloud-native / replatforming / refactoring)
• Experience in providing technical input for project quotations
