About the Position
We're looking for a proactive Compliance Officer to join our Global Compliance Department in San Francisco.
This key role focuses on product compliance, through the enforcement of our internal standards, prevention of misuse, and the promotion of ethical practices across the organization.
You'll implement business principles, ethics procedures including KYC procedures, and manage projects while supporting overall Compliance and Ethics initiatives.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, ensuring alignment with Bright Data's values.
- Oversee ethical compliance in service usage.
- Detect and prevent fraud and create prevention tools.
- Conduct audits to ensure policy adherence and recommend improvements.
- Communicate directly with, and evaluate customers and partners, for policy alignment and to provide guidance.
- Report findings and update policies to address new risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in compliance and fraud prevention.
- Familiar with fraud systems, compliance frameworks, and AI investigative tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- A degree in law, business, or data science - an advantage.
- CCEP or CFE certifications - an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - a must, additional languages - an advantage.
