About the Position
We are seeking a Computer System Analyst with expertise in Java, Python, and SQL to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain application components, APIs, and backend services based on business and technical requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented Java code following established development standards.
- Develop basic scripts and utilities using Python to support application development, automation, data processing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and functional testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes and enhancements. Work with databases and write basic to intermediate SQL queries for application development and data validation.
- Integrate applications with internal and third-party systems through APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Use source control tools such as Git to manage and maintain application code.
- Assist with application deployments, configuration, monitoring, and production support activities.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies, development practices, and tools to improve application performance and maintainability.
- Document technical solutions, application changes, and development processes as required.
