Computer Vision Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer with expertise in OpenCV and machine learning to join our high-tech consultancy in Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities

• Develop Vision Solutions: Design and implement computer vision algorithms for image processing, object detection, and pattern recognition.
• Work with Advanced Frameworks: Build robust applications using tools such as OpenCV and other vision libraries.
• Optimize Performance: Improve the accuracy, speed, and scalability of vision systems for real-world applications.
• Data Processing: Collect, preprocess, and analyze image and video datasets.
• Model Integration: Integrate computer vision models into production environments and industrial systems.
• Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and hardware teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Testing & Validation: Ensure reliability through rigorous testing and validation of vision algorithms.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of architectures, models, and development processes.

Requirements

• Education: M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python. Nice to have:.NET
• Computer Vision Expertise: Practical experience with frameworks and libraries such as OpenCV or similar.
• Algorithms & Theory: Solid understanding of image processing, machine learning, and deep learning fundamentals.
• Data Skills: Experience with image datasets, annotations, and preprocessing techniques.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Languages: Fluency in Italian and English is required.
• Motivation: Strong interest in innovative technologies and TMC’s Employeneurship model.

We Offer

• A fixed-term employment contract.
• A gross annual salary (Bruto Jaarsalaris – RAL) not less than €31,000, in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for Trade – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.
• A competitive compensation package that includes a project profit-sharing component, an individual annual learning and development budget of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process, in line with the company's applicable policies.
