Job description
About the Position
NielsenIQ’s Consumer and Shopper Panel business is undergoing an exciting period of growth. With a healthy pipeline of new clients, we are looking for a Consumer & Shopper Senior Analyst who can help deliver an exceptional onboarding experience and enable clients to quickly realize the value of our panel data, tools, and expertise.
This role will be central to the successful launch of new client partnerships. You will guide clients through their onboarding journey, while also acting as a trusted expert for internal associates, helping to build knowledge and capability across the organization. Key to the role will be understanding business priorities, building confidence in our solutions, and ensuring users are equipped to turn panel data into meaningful action.
You will also play an important role in supporting NielsenIQ’s move towards an AI-first strategy. Working with both clients and internal colleagues, you will encourage curiosity, build confidence, and identify practical opportunities to use AI to improve productivity, strengthen analysis, and deliver greater client value.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines strong panel knowledge with excellent client-facing, training, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
-
Delivering excellent client onboarding:
- Lead the onboarding of new Consumer and Shopper Panel clients, creating a structured and engaging experience from launch through to confident adoption.
- Develop onboarding plans that reflect each client’s objectives, stakeholders, level of experience, and priority business questions.
- Build strong relationships with client teams across insight, category, sales, marketing, and commercial functions.
- Ensure clients understand the capabilities of our data, platforms, and analytical solutions, as well as how these can support their strategic and tactical priorities.
- Work closely with commercial, product, analytics, and Customer Success colleagues to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery.
- Monitor onboarding progress, identify potential risks, and take action to maintain momentum and client engagement.
-
Building client and internal capability:
- Deliver engaging training and upskilling sessions for clients with different levels of panel-data experience.
- Help clients become confident and increasingly self-sufficient users of NielsenIQ tools and solutions.
- Act as a trusted panel expert for internal colleagues, providing guidance, support, and practical coaching.
- Build panel knowledge and capability across Customer Success and other relevant internal teams.
- Translate complex consumer and shopper concepts into clear, relevant, and practical guidance.
- Support clients and colleagues in applying panel data to activities such as brand planning, category reviews, range decisions, and performance evaluation.
- Identify opportunities to deepen adoption and demonstrate the ongoing value of NielsenIQ’s Consumer and Shopper Panel proposition.
-
Championing an AI-first mindset:
- Support the adoption of AI-first ways of working across both client and internal teams.
- Help users understand where AI can improve efficiency, strengthen thinking, and create additional capacity for higher-value work.
- Demonstrate practical and responsible uses of AI across activities such as briefing, analysis, insight creation, storytelling, and client preparation.
- Share examples, prompts, techniques, and best practices that build confidence and encourage experimentation.
- Work with colleagues to embed AI into repeatable onboarding, training, and Customer Success processes.
- Maintain a strong focus on human judgment, commercial understanding, and data quality when using AI-enabled solutions.
-
Delivering insight and client value:
- Use consumer and shopper panel data to answer client questions and explain the drivers of brand and category performance.
- Turn analysis into clear, commercially relevant stories and recommendations.
- Challenge assumptions constructively and bring a fresh consumer and shopper perspective to client conversations.
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ industries, categories, and strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities where additional NielsenIQ capabilities could support the client’s goals.
Requirements
- Experience using continuous consumer or shopper panel data, or loyalty-card data, within an FMCG, retail, or analytical environment.
- Experience working with solutions such as NielsenIQ Consumer Panel, Kantar Worldpanel, Clubcard, Nectar, Advantage Card, or similar datasets.
- Strong client-facing, relationship-management, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Experience delivering onboarding, training, workshops, or capability-building programs.
- The ability to explain complex data and analytical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
- An engaging presentation style and strong storytelling skills.
- Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for helping others adopt new tools and ways of working.
- Sound commercial awareness and the ability to connect data to business decisions.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and project-management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience of NielsenIQ tools and delivery systems.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or analytical environments.
We Offer
- The opportunity to play a central role in the growth of NielsenIQ’s Consumer and Shopper Panel business.
- Exposure to a varied portfolio of new and established clients.
- A role that combines client partnership, capability building, data, technology, and innovation.
- The chance to help shape AI-first ways of working within Customer Success.
- Excellent development opportunities within a forward-looking global organization.
- Collaboration with talented colleagues across Customer Success, analytics, product, and commercial teams.
