About the Position
We are seeking a hands-on Controller to partner closely with the CFO and lead the day-to-day accounting function in a growing manufacturing company.

Responsibilities
- Manage and improve the monthly close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Oversee general ledger activity and maintain balance sheet integrity
- Support AP, AR, inventory accounting, and cost accounting functions
- Assist with audits, tax reporting, and special projects
- Partner with leadership on financial reporting and process improvements
- Help recruit, train, and develop future accounting team members
- Maintain and optimize accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Requirements
- Manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory and cost accounting exposure
- Strong month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger expertise
- Experience supporting external audits and audited financial statements
- Background in small to mid-sized businesses preferred
- Tax reporting experience and Dynamics 365 Business Central exposure are a plus
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to thrive in a growing organization
