About the Position

We are currently seeking a Coordinador(a) de Proyectos to ensure assigned projects are executed on time, scope, cost, and quality, according to established plans, regulatory requirements, and applicable standards.

The position will be responsible for coordinating activities, resources, teams, and information throughout all stages of the project, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the fulfillment of organizational objectives. This role will not have direct reports but will need to influence, facilitate, and follow up on the activities of the various areas involved, promoting effective communication and a culture of collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the different stages of the project life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain updated project plans, schedules, key dates, activities, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate resources, teams, and information to ensure the fulfillment of established objectives.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to communicate action plans, priorities, and resource needs.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and follow up on their completion.
  • Monitor progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
  • Facilitate the resolution of doubts, risks, blockages, and needs that arise during project execution.
  • Act as a point of contact between the different areas involved.
  • Communicate periodically the status, progress, risks, and next steps of the projects.
  • Ensure that the needs of internal and external clients are considered during project development.
  • Coordinate activities related to the introduction of new products and the start of production in new cells.
  • Follow up on process transfer and production change projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable ISO standards.
  • Maintain organized and updated project documentation.
  • Participate in the definition of project management plans to ensure their success.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration between different areas of the organization.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers when necessary for project fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proven experience in project management and coordination.
  • Knowledge of project management stages.
  • PMP certification, project management training, or equivalent education.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Experience coordinating activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage schedules, resources, tasks, risks, and deliverables.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Knowledge of quality systems applicable to medical devices.
  • Experience in introducing new products.
  • Experience supporting process or technology transfers.
  • Knowledge of process validation.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis.
  • Experience in regulated environments.
  • Proficiency in project management and analysis tools, such as:
    • Microsoft Project
    • Microsoft Planner
    • Microsoft Visio
    • Minitab
    • Microsoft Office
    • Similar project management tools
