About the Role
Do you enjoy turning complex ideas into clear, compelling stories? Are you motivated by helping teams win new business and build strong client relationships? We’re looking for someone to join our specialist pre-sales team, and we’re open to people from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds.
As a Senior Consultant in our Cyber & Cloud Solutions team, you’ll play a key role in helping customers address their most critical cyber security challenges, by leading our teams in shaping client opportunities, preparing high-quality proposals, and communicating our solutions in a way that is both persuasive and easy to understand.
Working across our Commercial & Solutions Group and partnering with specialists from every CyberCX service line, you'll help shape customer engagements from the very beginning - bringing together technical expertise, commercial thinking and customer insight to create effective solutions.
If you enjoy bringing people together, solving complex business challenges and helping customers achieve better outcomes - we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Own complex customer pursuits from opportunity through to proposal submission.
- Partner with technical specialists and business leaders to develop tailored cyber security and cloud solutions.
- Translate customer requirements into deliverable outcomes.
- Help design innovative cyber and cloud solutions that deliver real business value.
- Work across multiple specialist teams to bring together the right expertise for each opportunity.
- Develop bid strategies, pricing models and commercial proposals, presentations and customer materials.
- Lead and collaborate on bid management activities, and ensure proposals meet a consistently high standard.
- Ensure every proposal is differentiated, deliverable and aligned to commercial objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Contribute to strategic pursuits and help improve our proposal methodologies, reusable assets and customer experience.
Requirements
- Solid experience (typically 4+ years) within professional services, technology, cyber security or a related field.
- Knowledge in one or more cyber security or cloud domains.
- Experience developing customer engagements, proposals, pre-sales, bid management or solution development.
- Commercial acumen and experience developing compelling, customer-focused offerings.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce executive-quality customer documentation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, customers and technical specialists.
We Offer
This is a genuine opportunity to develop your consulting and solution design capability while working alongside some of Australia's leading cyber security professionals.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Shape high-value cyber security pursuits across a broad range of industries.
- Work alongside technical specialists across every cyber security discipline.
- Influence customer strategy before delivery begins.
- Develop expertise across commercial strategy, solution design and customer engagement.
- Build a long-term career at the intersection of cyber security, cloud and customer solutions within a leading Australian cyber security business.
- Be part of a team where different perspectives, backgrounds and ways of thinking are genuinely valued.
