As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable business insights. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics, build intuitive dashboards, and perform in-depth analyses that drive strategic decision-making. Your role will bridge the gap between complex data structures and business requirements, ensuring that data-driven storytelling is accurate, clear, and impactful.

Responsibilities

• Insight Generation: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business growth.
• Dashboarding & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain automated BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into KPIs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business questions into technical requirements and present findings to non-technical audiences.
• Data Quality & Validation: Partner with Data Engineering to ensure data accuracy and assist in the validation of data models.

Requirements

Core Skills & Technologies

• Programming & Querying
  • SQL
  • Python (a plus)
• Data Visualization & BI
  • Power BI / Tableau / Looker
  • Semantic Layering: Experience with DAX (Power BI) or LookML (Looker)
  • Storytelling: Ability to visualize data in a way that highlights key takeaways
• Data Platforms
  • BigQuery / Azure Synapse / Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience with data modeling using DBT (a plus)
• Data Governance
  • Data documentation and maintenance of clear definitions in data dictionaries or catalogs
  • Data Q/A, ensuring data accuracy of data models
• Statistics and Experimentation (Nice to Have)
  • Hypothesis testing, probability distributions, and regression
  • Experience with A/B testing and significance testing
• AI/ML (Nice to Have)
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics and machine learning concepts
  • Familiarity with Vertex AI or BigQuery ML for simple model deployment

Language Requirements

• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
• Ukrainian: Professional fluency (would be an advantage)
