Job description

Data Analyst (SaaS)

Published: 3 Nov, 2026

About the Position

Join our client’s team as a Data Analyst (SaaS), turning data from multiple subscription-based products into actionable insights that drive business growth, improve product performance, and support strategic decisions.

About the Project

Our client is a Swiss Venture Builder and SaaS Studio that designs, launches, and scales multiple subscription-based SaaS products in parallel. The company supports the incubation of new ventures through its Lab, helping solopreneurs turn ideas into scalable businesses.

Its portfolio focuses on B2C digital tools that simplify everyday tasks, covering areas such as HR Tech, file management, and creative tools for design and content creation. The company follows a Test-Learn-Scale approach, combining continuous product improvement, international localization, and data-driven acquisition strategies.

With over 50 million annual visitors, products available in more than 15 countries, and a profitable, fully self-funded business model, the company offers an environment where data-driven decisions have a direct impact on product performance and business growth.

Your Impact

You will analyze the entire customer journey across multiple SaaS products, from acquisition and conversion to payments, revenue, and retention. Your goal will be to uncover growth opportunities, identify performance issues, and translate business questions into clear, data-backed recommendations.

This is not a dashboard-focused role. We are looking for someone who enjoys investigating data, understanding business challenges, challenging assumptions, and helping teams make better decisions.

You will work across the company’s SaaS product portfolio, collaborating with the Data team, CEO, and Marketing, Product, Payments, and Finance teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar BI / Analytics role
  • Experience working with SaaS, subscription-based business models, or e-commerce, with a good understanding of growth and revenue challenges
  • Strong SQL skills, including joins, segmentation, cohort analysis, and window functions
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis and statistics, including performance comparisons, cohort analysis, and interpretation of test results
  • Understanding of key business metrics such as conversion rate, customer acquisition cost (CAC), retention, ARPA, and Lifetime Value (LTV)
  • Experience analyzing customer, marketing, product, or payment data, with the ability to explore new business domains
  • Ability to combine data from multiple sources and validate its quality and consistency
  • AI-native mindset: hands-on experience using AI assistants such as Claude or equivalent, cloud-based AI tools, and integrating AI into analytical and reporting workflows, with the ability to critically evaluate their outputs
  • Strong business acumen and curiosity, with the ability to investigate the reasons behind data trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Critical thinking and analytical rigor, including the ability to challenge assumptions and communicate the limitations of an analysis
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and strong prioritization skills in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to present and explain analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent French and English at B2 level or higher

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis
  • Experience with product analytics tools
  • Familiarity with payment service provider (PSP) data, such as Stripe or Adyen
  • Experience working with subscription billing platforms such as Recurly or Chargebee
  • Experience analyzing payment performance, fraud, disputes, and payment acceptance rates
  • Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing

Responsibilities

  • Analyze acquisition channels, marketing campaigns, and customer cohorts to evaluate acquisition costs, conversion rates, revenue, and customer lifetime value
  • Identify profitable customer segments and growth opportunities, providing data-backed recommendations to Marketing teams and leadership
  • Analyze the customer journey across different stages, including website visits, sign-ups, trials, subscriptions, and retention
  • Investigate conversion funnels, user behavior, retention, and churn to identify drop-off points and opportunities to improve product performance
  • Collaborate with the SaaS Data Scientist on analytical projects, experiments, and impact measurement
  • Monitor payment performance, including acceptance rates, declines, and retries across payment providers, products, countries, and customer segments
  • Analyze revenue and risk indicators, including disputes and fraud, and work with the Payments team to identify and measure improvement opportunities
  • Translate business questions from different teams into reliable, structured, and easy-to-understand analyses
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineer to validate data quality, ensure consistency across data sources, and contribute to shared metric definitions
  • Present analytical findings, highlight limitations, and deliver prioritized recommendations to support business decisions
  • Develop reusable analytical resources and AI-powered data skills that help teams explore data and answer business questions more independently

We Offer

  • Competitive salary with regular reviews
  • Medical reimbursement after 3 months
  • Vacation (up to 20 working days)
  • Sick leave (10 working days)
  • Up to 11 national holidays as paid time off
  • Online English courses
  • Accountant assistance
  • Flexible working schedule and remote work
  • Direct cooperation with the customer
  • Dynamic environment with a low level of bureaucracy and great team spirit
  • Challenging projects across diverse business domains and technology stacks
  • Communication with Top and Senior-level specialists to strengthen your technical skills
  • Online and offline teambuildings
  • Support for and development of our volunteering culture
