About the Position
We are currently seeking a Data Center Operation Engineer for one of our clients, an international IT company that delivers solutions for various business sectors including space & defense, transportation, and more. The position is based in Darmstadt, Germany.

Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of Data Center, analysis, and reporting of operational anomalies
- Responding to user queries received by the user service helpdesk regarding Data Center services
- Test Automation of Data Center system fixes and upgrades
- Conducting testing of Data Center services
- Development of Data Center tools for monitoring, reporting, and improvement of Data Center usability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering fields (IT, aerospace engineering, etc.)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with script languages, software development processes, relational databases, SQL, Java, JavaScript, GIT/SVN, Unix/Linux environment
- Nice to have: C/C++, HADOOP, DOORS, tools like IDV, IDL, meteorological data formats
