Data Center Service Energy Engineer, Kyiv

About the Position

We are seeking a Data Center Service Energy Engineer in Kyiv to manage and maintain our data center's energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Technical operation of equipment included in the system: TP 0,4/10 kV, 0,4 kV power distribution, backup power (diesel power plant), uninterruptible power supply, lighting.
• Compliance with maintenance regulations. Supervision of work by contracted service organizations.
• Performing electrical measurements on equipment of the specified systems.
• Conducting diagnostics of battery status.
• Performing thermal imaging inspection of electrical equipment.
• Compiling and maintaining technical documentation.
• Participation in troubleshooting procedures and maintenance work on engineering equipment systems. Analysis of the causes of malfunctions.
• Participation in the development of schedules and preventive measures.
• Organization of storage, inventory, and movement of energy equipment and electrical measuring instruments at the enterprise.
• Participation in the implementation of systems during the construction and modernization stages.

Requirements

• Higher or secondary technical education.
• Work experience: more than 2 years in similar positions.
• Possession of IV-V electrical safety class.

Professional Competencies

• Servicing electrical installations in accordance with current regulations.
• Testing and measurement in electrical installations. Analysis of electrical circuits 0,4 kV.
• Control of installation and commissioning work in electrical installations. Knowledge of the principles of control of power plants, rules for acceptance and delivery of equipment after installation and repair.
• Work according to the schedule of preventive maintenance of electrical installations.
• Compilation of technical documentation (acts, protocols, reports, technological maps, instructions).
• Knowledge of the composition of energy-consuming production systems, their technical characteristics, design features, and operating modes of energy equipment and energy-consuming installations, rules for their operation.
