About the Position
We are currently seeking a Data Engineer for our client, a software company providing IT solutions and services to businesses across various sectors. The role involves modernizing data infrastructure, focusing on ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
Responsibilities
- Join a team responsible for designing and developing data infrastructure modernization.
- Play a key role in creating, maintaining, and optimizing ETL/ELT processes and data integration from multiple sources to support business decisions and real-time analysis.
- Design and implement solutions for processing large datasets.
- Create and optimize queries in Snowflake for performance and cost.
- Develop automated ETL/ELT processes using Python and tools like Apache Airflow.
- Collaborate with analysts and developers to deliver data in the optimal format.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data infrastructure.
- Participate in data solutions migration, integration, and scaling processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or with Data Engineering projects.
- Excellent knowledge of Python and its ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Airflow, API libraries).
- Practical experience with the Snowflake platform and its features (e.g., Streams, Tasks, Snowflake Data Marketplace).
- Advanced SQL skills and experience optimizing queries for performance.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and tools, and experience with automating data processing.
- Ability to work in a team, solve problems, and analyze data and technical solutions thoroughly.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of other Big Data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop).
- Certifications related to cloud platforms or data engineering technologies.
