Java Software Engineer

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Java Software Engineer for our client, a software company and producer of solutions for the banking sector. This is a hybrid role based in Warszawa, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing secure web solutions for banks in areas such as global payments, multi-bank liquidity management, digital customer onboarding, corporate banking applications, open banking APIs, and innovative user dashboards;
• Writing code with a strong focus on security, performance, code review, and test automation, using modern CI/CD solutions;
• Participating in the prototyping of new solutions and translating ideas into significant improvements;

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in Java programming;
• Sense of responsibility, client focus, attention to detail, and a desire to find optimal solutions;
• IT-related education or equivalent;
• Good knowledge of development tools, especially Git, Spring, Hibernate, REST API, and web application security; knowledge of Spring Boot and classic application servers is a plus;
• Passion for designing and writing good code and tests;
• Willingness to share knowledge and learn new things;
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written;
