About the Position

We are seeking a Data Engineer / Data Scientist (AI & LLM Solutions) Expert to join our team in Poland. This role combines solid data engineering capabilities with analytical and modeling skills. You will focus on building scalable data pipelines and developing AI/ML and agent-based solutions leveraging LLM technologies. You will join the Transaction Monitoring area within the Anti-Financial Crime Division at one of our UK banking clients, contributing to advanced analytics and intelligent automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Implement data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark
Develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
Build and evaluate LLM-based and Generative AI solutions (prompting, orchestration, evaluation)
Develop analytical and alerting models for financial crime detection
Perform business-oriented data analysis and functional design
Work within the Big Data ecosystem to process and transform large datasets
Optimize distributed data processing jobs (Spark)

Requirements

Minimum 5–6 years of commercial experience in similar roles
Very good knowledge of Python 3.x
Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
Practical experience within the Big Data ecosystem
Experience in developing analytical or alerting models
Solid understanding of data pipelines and scalable data architectures
Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI agent development
Knowledge of LLMs and Generative AI (prompt engineering, orchestration, evaluation)

Nice to Have

Experience in financial services or transaction monitoring
Experience in Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) domain
Experience working in regulated environments
