About the Position
We’re looking for a Data Engineer to provide support for a travel marketplace Finance team by maintaining and enhancing financial and sales reporting solutions. The role focuses on SQL and Power BI development, report accuracy, and business reporting using Snowflake and Microsoft Business Central in a part-time engagement and in close collaboration with Finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales & finance reporting support
- Provide General Ledger (GL) reporting support
- Provide VAT reporting support
- Work on customized sales reports
- Provide annual reporting support
- Deliver P&L reporting quarterly
- Suggest SQL & Power BI enhancements
- Ensure data quality and reporting accuracy
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and data reporting solutions
- Strong experience with Snowflake
- Advanced skills in Power BI development and report maintenance
- Experience with financial reporting (GL, VAT, P&L)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze business requirements and work independently
- Strong skills in communication and stakeholder collaboration
- English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher
