About the Position
We are seeking a Data Engineer with experience in data warehousing and ETL tools to join our international eCommerce client in Warszawa, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Designing a new data warehouse and implementing ETL tools based on the AWS cloud
- Developing innovative solutions in the field of Business Intelligence and Big Data, including test automation, continuous integration process, monitoring
- Launching and maintaining a new data warehouse
- Maintaining the current data warehouse
Requirements
- Higher education in computer science/computer engineering or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with data warehouses and handling large datasets
- Experience working with the AWS platform
- Several years of experience in coding and test automation
- Knowledge of ETL processes and cloud-based data warehouses
- Familiarity with tools such as Spark/Kafka/Hadoop stack/Vertica/Docker/Redshift/EMR/Snowflake/Airflow
- Very good knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of Python is a plus
