About the Position
We are seeking a Data Engineer – Recovery Data Management to join our team in Warszawa, Gdańsk, or Gdynia, focusing on designing and maintaining scalable data models and resilient data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective data solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and resilient data pipelines
- Take end-to-end ownership of deliveries, from initial requirements through implementation, testing, and production deployment
- Build and enhance data solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow
- Integrate data from enterprise APIs and other internal and external data sources
- Drive automation and apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
- Ensure high standards of stability, reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability of delivered solutions
- Work independently, proactively identify improvements, and quickly build domain knowledge within the Recovery data area
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python
- Practical experience working with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow
- Strong understanding of data modelling and experience designing scalable and resilient data pipelines
- Experience with API integrations and modern data architecture principles
- Good understanding of software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps ways of working
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions from concept to production
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
