Through the latest AI technologies and machine learning, we combine decades' worth of data with the latest in-game happenings. We then offer coaches, teams, professional bodies, and media channels around the world, access to the very best data, content, and insights. In turn, improving how sports fans interact with their favourite sports teams and competitions.

We are looking for a Data Insights Editor to join our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This role will be part of the Data Insights team, using your excellent knowledge of domestic and international men’s and women’s football to create content for a range of clients in the sports media industry, with the help of the Opta database.

Responsibilities

• Use your excellent knowledge of domestic and international men’s and women’s football to create content for a range of clients in the sports media industry, with the help of the Opta database.
• Liaise with our international Data Insights teams to ensure a smooth workflow of content.
• Provide onsite shifts (live support) at our partner's broadcast studios, where we provide the presenters and commentators with Insights and data.
• Create content as part of a team that produces social media content.
• Innovate and display creativity with new ideas on how to use data and enhance its storytelling capabilities.

Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Living in the Netherlands, within travel distance of our Amsterdam office.
• Excellent knowledge of European football, in particular Dutch football, and UEFA Club Competitions.
• The ability to produce data-focused editorial content and reports to a high standard.
• Understanding of how raw data can be turned into compelling insight and sharable content.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) is essential.
• Willingness to fit the sports schedule, working ‘shift based’ role, featuring weekend and night work. Must also be flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the role in a diverse and multicultural global environment.
• Ability to work well to tight deadlines in a highly pressurized environment.
• Ability to offer creative and flexible solutions to help develop new ideas and shape innovative data-led products.
