Video Collection Analyst

About the Position

Stats Perform is the market leader in sports tech. We provide the most trusted sports data to some of the world's biggest organizations, across sports, media, and broadcasting.

We are seeking a Video Collection Analyst to join our team in Chicago, USA. This role involves capturing video for live data collection and ensuring accurate scheduling and reporting. If you are passionate about sports and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Capturing Video: Responsible for capturing video as per production requirements, working with both the existing Video Team and international Video Staff.
• Scheduling: Create a daily recording schedule using bespoke software tools.
• Preparation: Prepare video for our production teams on time and in the correct format.
• Reporting: Provide daily reports, handover documents, and incident logs.
• Hardware Checks: Perform weekly hardware checks on the video equipment.
• Optimization: Use online and internal knowledge to optimize video production.
• Communication: Communicate regularly and clearly within the business to ensure the highest capture rates.
• Quality Control: QC the work of all team members to ensure the accuracy of all scheduling/source information.
• Flexibility: Regularly work weekends with a flexible working pattern.

Requirements

• Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Interest: A strong familiarity with and interest in professional sports.
• Skills:
  • Ability to plan with accuracy and strong foresight.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately around the global video teams.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines/live environment.
  • Excellent written, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience:
  • Experience in scheduling and planning.
  • Experience with Excel and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with TV, satellite, and online streaming services.
