About the Position
Do you have a passion for data? Do you want to work with a team of talented data scientists to help ExampleCorp make sense of the massive amounts of data we collect every day? If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a data scientist to join our team at ExampleCorp. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data models and mining algorithms to help us better understand our data and make better business decisions. You will also be responsible for creating reports and presentations to share your findings with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:
- Design and develop ExampleCorp’s data architecture, including data warehouses, marts, and lakes
- Build ExampleCorp’s data processing pipelines, including ETLs and data cleansing routines
- Manage ExampleCorp’s data security and privacy policies
- Analyze ExampleCorp’s data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Present findings to ExampleCorp’s management team and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with ExampleCorp’s engineering team to develop data-driven products and features
- Hire and train ExampleCorp’s data science team
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with data.
- Minimum of a Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, math, or computer science.
- Experience with at least one statistical programming language such as R, Python, or SAS.
- Experience with at least one database query language such as SQL.
- Able to effectively communicate complex results to non-technical audiences.
