Data Scientist

About the Position

We are seeking a Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience in the banking or IT sector for a remote position at PrivatBank, Ukraine's largest and most innovative bank.

Responsibilities

• Building mathematical and statistical models using Low-code/No-code AI/ML platforms, analytics tools, and Business Intelligence (BI) technologies.
• Full project support: gathering requirements, data preparation and processing, model testing, and graphical interpretation of results.
• Conducting A/B tests with statistical metrics evaluation to analyze the effectiveness of activities with bank's business clients.
• Hypothesis testing using statistical methods and ML models to study customer behavior patterns and lifecycle (LTV, Churn, etc.).
• Segmentation and clustering of the customer base to enhance the economic efficiency of existing programs and optimize communication with business clients.
• Searching and analyzing anomalies in behavioral patterns and transactional data to identify risks or non-standard customer activity.
• Initiating and implementing new projects for model development and analytical research to introduce advanced practices and improve existing business processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the field in the banking or IT sector (Data Science area is preferred).
• Practical experience in building commercial models, conducting client and product analysis.
• Experience with BI tools.
