About the Position

We are currently seeking a Data Scientist for our client, an international product company with solutions in the publishing industry. The role is based in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Implementing projects within the client's global structure to improve and accelerate the activities of individual departments
• Solving business problems using Machine Learning algorithms
• Utilizing Machine Learning tools for designing, building, testing, and deploying ML models
• Formulating and testing hypotheses based on large datasets and presenting conclusions and recommendations

Requirements

• Higher education in mathematics, computer science, statistics, or econometrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning specialist in large projects
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to communicate with non-IT personnel, and extract insights to define business questions
• Proficiency in building datasets that answer business questions and creating predictive analytical models
• Advanced knowledge of classification models, SQL, and databases
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, Python/R, AWS – Redshift, and Machine Learning tools for AWS cloud
• Advanced knowledge of the English language – collaboration with English-speaking internal clients
