About the Position
Data Visualization Engineer
Serve as a data visualization engineer specializing in license reporting and analytics for online and high tech business environments using advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and ACI database tools. Create accurate and insightful dashboards that support strategic decisions, ensure compliance with license usage policies, and optimize operational performance in a rotational shift work from office model.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive data visualization solutions that transform complex license reporting data from ACI database and SQL sources into clear dashboards and reports that enable stakeholders to make timely operational and compliance decisions.
- Analyze large volumes of online and high tech domain data using Excel and data analytics techniques to identify patterns, anomalies, and optimization opportunities that improve product performance and resource utilization.
- Design and maintain reusable data models and reporting structures in SQL and ACI database to ensure reliable, accurate, and efficient data pipelines that support ongoing license tracking and business analytics.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into structured visualization deliverables that address specific business questions and regulatory needs.
- Validate data quality across Excel files, SQL queries, and ACI database tables to detect inconsistencies, correct errors, and maintain high standards of accuracy for all license reporting outputs.
- Optimize existing dashboards and reports by refining calculations, improving visual layouts, and simplifying user interactions so that decision makers can quickly interpret insights without needing technical expertise.
- Document data sources, transformation logic, and visualization design choices in a clear and organized manner to support audit readiness, future maintenance, and knowledge sharing across analytics teams.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and database teams within the office environment to troubleshoot performance issues in SQL queries and ACI database processes that affect reporting timeliness.
- Implement robust scheduling and monitoring practices for recurring reports to ensure that license utilization metrics and online platform indicators are delivered consistently across rotational shifts.
- Support stakeholders by explaining the meaning of key metrics, trends, and variances revealed through data visualization, helping them connect analytical outcomes to business strategies, customer experience, and societal impact.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to data collection methods, analytic models, and visualization standards that align with organizational goals in the high tech and online services space.
- Ensure that all reporting and visualization activities comply with internal governance practices and external license agreements, thereby reducing risk and supporting ethical data usage across the company.
- Participate in rotational shift handovers by sharing concise status updates and maintaining standardized reporting templates that allow smooth continuity of analytics activities in the office-based work model.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data cleaning methods to support detailed analysis of license usage and online platform performance.
- Apply solid experience in data analytics for license reporting by designing metrics, performing trend analysis, and interpreting results to guide decisions for high tech and online business operations.
- Use hands-on expertise in ACI database environments to build queries, manage tables, and integrate data sets required for accurate visualization and reporting workflows.
- Employ practical knowledge of SQL to write optimized queries, joins, and aggregations that extract and transform data efficiently for dashboards and analytic studies.
- Bring domain understanding of online and high tech industries to contextualize metrics, recognize relevant usage patterns, and align visualizations with real-world product and service behaviors.
We Offer
- Competitive compensation and benefits package.
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Professional growth and development opportunities.
