About the Position
Moorgate, a recruitment firm specializing in IT specialist and senior-level positions, is currently seeking a Database Administrator for a client in the gaming industry located in Kraków, Poland. The role involves full database administration in a complex environment, ensuring availability, performance, and security of databases.
Responsibilities
- Full database administration (maintenance, configuration, optimization, installation) in a large, complex environment
- Ensuring the availability, performance, and security of databases
- Maintaining the solution architecture and technical documentation
- Ensuring backup processes, including testing version restoration
- Collaborating with other teams, such as BI, Development, and Software Tests
Requirements
- Several years of experience in MySQL and MariaDB administration
- Practical knowledge of the latest versions of MySQL
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Good knowledge of English
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SQL/noSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Knowledge of GIT, Percona tools, and Cassandra
