About the Position

We are looking for a Datacenter Administrator to join our technical team in Porto. You will be responsible for administering and developing physical and virtual infrastructure, ensuring the availability, performance, and continuity of data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop physical and virtual infrastructure
• Ensure the availability, performance, and continuity of data center environments

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of virtualization, including VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and/or other virtualization platforms
• At least three years of proven experience in systems administration and data center infrastructure
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure environments
• Proven experience implementing and administering clusters, high availability environments, and disaster recovery solutions
• Knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and traffic load balancing
• Experience with physical and virtual infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and their integration
• Experience in infrastructure projects, with the ability to assume technical responsibility and oversee the implementation of solutions
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and focus on quality
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues
• Availability, proactivity, and strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have

• VMware, Microsoft, or equivalent certifications in data center technologies and virtualization
• Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or equivalent networking certifications
• Certifications related to cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, or data center technologies
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and enterprise storage solutions
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Experience in highly critical data center environments, particularly in the financial services, telecommunications, industrial, or utilities sectors
• Knowledge of automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent tools
