About the Position

Join Oramix as a Linux Systems Administrator in Lisbon or Oporto for a full-time, open-ended contract role.

We are strengthening our technical team with a Linux Systems Administrator!

Oramix is looking for a System Administrator with knowledge of Linux/Unix to join us in providing top quality IT solutions (architecture, implementation and operation) for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a flair for teamwork, be passionate about technology and focused on the client’s interests.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Linux/Unix systems, with a focus on RedHat and Oracle Linux.
Manage networking and web protocols.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Handle Docker containers and Kubernetes administration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of IT solutions.

Requirements

Experience in Linux/Unix, with greater emphasis on RedHat and Oracle Linux.
Knowledge of networking and web protocols.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
Experience/knowledge of Docker containers.
Experience/knowledge of Kubernetes administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

RedHat certifications.
Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP clouds.
