team.blue Denmark is one of Denmark's leading hosting and cloud providers for small and medium-sized businesses. We are looking for a skilled Datacenter Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The team's primary responsibility is the operation and design of our 5 datacenters - that is, running our virtualization, storage, and network platforms. The team's most important task is to deliver a reliable platform for our end customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Installing and decommissioning physical equipment
• Baselining servers (firmware updates)
• Building new datacenters and improving existing ones
• RMA tasks (typically on servers)
• Inventory management of new and spare equipment

Requirements

• IT-related education or equivalent hands-on experience
• Sense of order and flair for organizing things systematically
• Open to learning new things and enjoys routine tasks
• Interest in learning about physical servers
• High level of service and care about quality and finish
• Proactive work style and pride in finding faults before they have business impact
• Ability to manage your own working day and thrive with freedom under responsibility
• Speak and write Danish and have a good command of English
• Category B driving license (passenger car)

About the Team

You will become an important part of our Infrastructure team. The team consists of 18 highly specialized employees whom you can always turn to for help and sparring on your tasks. The team is characterized by a strong sense of responsibility - we always keep our agreements and deadlines. We help each other make sure we deliver. We love to learn and acquire new knowledge, so that we stay ahead of the technologies. We set the bar high in our work, so that we always arrive at the right - and best - solutions. Our solutions have been analyzed, and we always base our decisions on what the data tells us.
